The kilt arrived safely today, Monday, at 9:15am Well, what can I say? It fits beautifully - with the straps all at their tightest - so I have a little growing room if required! As you said yourself, it looks stunning too. Ruth, my wife, is absolutely delighted with it. She says it looks absolutely right and she is also looking forward to wearing her sash. As I said previously, it is a perfect match for a dress she obtained just before I finally chose the tartan. A really happy coincidence. She has a turquoise dress which looks wonderful with it as well. I am now busily looking for just the right brooch for her shoulder.

We had to go out this evening, so I had to take the kilt off, but this did give me a chance to examine it in detail. I am equally amazed by the skills demonstrated in the making of it. It lives up to every promise made by your web site. The stitching, the straps, the fringes - all beautifully executed. It was this quality and attention to detail that I was looking for - and found. You were, of course, absolutely right to pleat it to the sett. Nothing else would have done. But I see you have managed to make the rear an exact duplication of the front with a central red stripe in both cases. Was I just lucky, or is that another example of your skill in laying out the design? I suspect it was.

Thanks for keeping your promise of a quality product and for delivering it well within the quoted time. If I am ever asked, I shall recommend you without hesitation. By the way, I do need socks to go with it. Shoe size 7 1/2 or 8, depending on the width. Do you have any in stock, or should I get them locally? (actually the nearest shop is about 24 miles away!)
